Nestled in the Davenport area of Mt. Hotham, Hangman’s Drop Ski Club offers renovated accommodations for families, groups, or individuals in a cozy 17-bed lodge spread over three levels. What sets us apart is our unique layout, designed to feel more like an alpine home, making it the perfect place for family and friends to gather all year round.
Originally built by members in 1968, much of the lodge’s original structure remains, but it was fully renovated to its current form in 2006. Our lodge features 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus an additional toilet, a large drying room, laundry facilities, a wood fire heater, electric heating, an all-weather lobby, an indoor lobby, both protected and open-air decks, and double kitchen, dining, and living rooms with stunning views of Mt Feathertop.

We’re excited to announce that our lodge manager Nick is supervising the 2025 snow season. Say hello when you see him. He will be doing daily touch-cleaning and supervising the general cleaning duties to be done by the guests. Please assist him with this and with snow clearing when necessary.

During the snow season, you can catch a shuttle bus to Hotham Central. During summer, you can walk, ride, or drive!
